Blepharoplasty (EyeLid Surgery)A Blepharoplasty or Cosmetic Eye Surgery can be carried out on both the upper or lower eyelids. The operation involves the removal of excess fat, muscle and skin. It is done to correct droopy eyelids, baggy skin under the eyes or to improve vision. During a blepharoplasty wrinkles are cut away but no improvements can be maid to darkness under the eyes or crows feet. The operation is performed using either a laser or conventional methods. The procedure itself will last between one and two hours and patient are normally released the same day.
