Dermabrasion

The process of Dermabrasion is performed by using manual abrasion of the skin to get rid of acne scars, light wrinkles, hyperpigmetation, scars and tattoos. The procedure is performed over 15 minutes to 2 hours. This depends on how big an area is being treated and how deep the treatment needs to be. The surgeon will use fine grit surgical sandpaper or a sanding machine on the skin. He may pass over the area being treated several times to get rid of deep scarring. This can completely remove certain scars but more extreme cases may require additional procedures.
